In The Studio

September 22, 2021

First Day of Fall.

My favorite season. The mornings are crisp, the air is clear and the leaves turn beautiful colors.

Around the Castle Wall

This quilt really shows off the center block, castle wall. Made as a quilt in the round, I started it off with the first block, and other quilters added border after border until it was finished. This is a fun way to share your quilt making with friends. And because I kicked off the fun, I got to choose my color palette, fall tones of course!

I have a few more fall color quilts.

In the Vineyard
Prairie Flowers
Tessellated Leaves #2
Primitive Pumpkins

All of these and more are hanging in the studio. Stop by The Quilt Studio in Afton Open House and Quilter’s Garage Sale to see these and a whole lot more.
