Winter at the Vineyard

Winter arrived at the Vineyard with back-to-back snowstorms. Great weather to stay in by the fire and get some handwork done. I’m working on my February bird (Blue Jay) and I finished the January bird( Cedar Waxwing) a bit late, but better late than never.

This background was just not working with the Whooping Cranes…so I’m making them a new one. These Canada Geese look more at home here and besides the border blocks are ” Fly Away Home” the title of a movie about geese.

And for my UFO. I made a QQP (Quick Quilting Project). This pre-printed panel was lightly quilted and bound. Our National Park pins finally have a home. I have quite a few more to get including trips to re-visit some parks that we went to before I started collecting pins!
