The Barn Raising Quilt is finally finished and on our bed. It was so nice and warm last night, perfect covering for after a snow storm.

This quilt came off the long arm on Friday. I added the first round of binding on Saturday morning. Then sat and stitched down the second side of the border by hand, while it snowed. And by Sunday at noon, got it on the bed.

On Thursday, I added some borders to this block exchange quilt. The top was sewn together some years ago, but I always wanted to make it bigger. Now, I just have to piece together a backing and then it will be ready for the long arm. The quilt will be called Firecrackers. I’d like to get this done by the 4th of July!
