This was our birthday week. My husband and I have birthdays 2 days apart. So this week…we visited Glass House winery on Sunday. Then test drove some Tesla’s on Tuesday stopping for ice cream of course.
I finished a second Quilt of Honor.
Then I made an elephant. Using free hand thread play…with stabilizer and dark Misty fuze. And lots of gray thread.
And with the threat of the hurricane remnants heading our way, I pulled out a UFO hand project. These are crazy quilt blocks…featuring birds of New Zealand. I have one block finished, I’m working on #2 out of 5. The blocks are already pieced and I’m adding hand stitching along each seam.
